Examine the backgrounds of businesses and the principals who run them. A fundamental understanding of what is involved in a business is necessary to ensure a thorough and diligent investigation. All too often we have been brought in after the ‘wheel has fallen off’, and a company that extended a line of credit, 5 figures, to a salesman we then discover he is a discharged bankrupt and the money has gone with no hope of recovery.

If you’re looking for a live-in Nanny or childminder the peace of mind that comes with a background check is immeasurable, granted a Criminal Records Check will have been carried out but that will only show you that at the point in time a check was carried out they did not have a criminal record. Is that comfort enough for you? No I didn’t think so.
